Polyphon Records

Polyphon Records were manufactured by the well known company which made disc musical boxes. Seeing their trade in such wares slumping, around 1910 they began to issue their own gramophone recordings. Later the brand name on 78s was changed to 'Pilot.' The first world war saw the immediate cessation of such records in Britain.
